Call for Street Traders
Organisers for the upcoming Festival of Illustration are calling for all street traders who would like to attend the three-day street market in Hartlepool to get their application in before 15th May.
The Festival of Illustration will launch on Thursday 4 June with a series of events including exhibitions by international artists, masterclasses with illustrators and cartoonists and a market with illustrators, print makers and other creative businesses. This is being supported with a lively street market in Church Square with a wide range of food, beverages and other stalls for visitors to enjoy.
Fees for a space at the open door event are £100 for three days and full traders packs are available on application to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact Pat Chapman on Tel: (01429) 858430. Cabins are 3m by 2.5m, are fully lockable and are protected by 24-hour security. Pitches must be set up by 4pm on 4 June and trading is from 5pm – 9pm on Thursday and 9am -5pm on Friday and Saturday. Applications for trading must be in by 15th May.

Lead by Cleveland College of Art & Design, in collaboration with Hartlepool Borough Council and Seven Stories, the Festival of Illustration is a free month-long event in Hartlepool which will bring world-renowned illustrators, cartoonists and comic artists to the town with exhibitions, a symposium, illustrators market, masterclasses, street market, storytelling and workshops.
